  •                 2022 Religious Emblem Recognition Service

The annual ceremony was held on February 28, 2022 at St. James Parish in Liberty.  Our host was Troop 214.  Bishop James Johnston and Father Joe Powers presided over the prayer service and ceremony, which was attended by 49 youth and their families.

The Bronze Pelican and St. George emblems were presented to adults that have made a significant contribution to Catholic Scouting in the diocese.

The Deus et Familia Mea (God and My Family) and Mary, the First Disciple were presented to American Heritage Girls.

Cub Scouts were presented the Saint John Bosco, Light of Christ and Parvuli Dei.  Scouts BSA were presented the Saint John Bosco, Ad Altare Dei and Pope Pius XII.

The Catholic Committee is very proud of the effort put forth by these children, their parents, leaders and counselors.
