The annual ceremony was held on February 9, 2023 at St. John LaLande parish in Blue Springs. Our host was American Heritage Girls Troop MO6506. Bishop James Johnston and Father Joe Powers presided over the prayer service and ceremony, which was attended by 76 youth and their families. 90 emblems were presented.
The Bronze Pelican is presented to adults that have made a significant contribution to Catholic Scouting in the diocese.

The Deus et Familia Mea (God and My Family) Mary, the First Disciple, and Saint John Bosco were presented to American Heritage Girls.
Cub Scouts were presented the Saint John Bosco, Light of Christ and Parvuli Dei. Scouts BSA were presented the Saint John Bosco and Ad Altare Dei.
