The annual ceremony was held on March 13, 2024 at St. Sabina Parish in Belton. Our host was Troop 111. Bishop James Johnston and Father Joe Powers presided over the prayer service and ceremony, which was attended by 56 youth and their families. 68 emblems were presented.
The Bronze Pelican is presented to adults that have made a significant contribution to Catholic Scouting in the diocese.

The Deus et Familia Mea (God and My Family) Mary, the First Disciple, and Saint John Bosco were presented to American Heritage Girls.
Cub Scouts were presented the Saint John Bosco, Light of Christ and Parvuli Dei. Scouts BSA were presented the Saint John Bosco, Ad Altare Dei and Pope Pius XII.
The Catholic Committee is very proud of the effort put forth by these children, their parents, leaders and counselors.
